Vicki Stuchl


Vicki began dancing with Johnny Cavelle at the age of four and is a graduate of the Johnny Cavelle Dance Studios. She continued her education at Presentation College in their dance teacher program and studied business concurrently at Northern State University.

Vicki has studied under such jazz masters as Gus Giordano, Joe Tremaine, Luigi, Matt Mattox, and Frank Hatchett. She was a demonstrator at the Chicago Nationals Dance Masters Association convention for tap/jazz master Bruce Stegmann. She has been a guest instructor at the Northern Plains Committee CCA and the SD Dance Network. Vicki has passed her Cecchetti Grade VI teachers exam and is a Licentiate member of the Cecchetti Council of America and a member of Dance Masters of America.

As the first assistant at the Johnny Cavelle Dance Studios, Vicki was on the faculty for 26 years. She continues her education during the summer months at the Cecchetti Council of America summer convention in Michigan and has also attended the World Jazz Congress in Chicago as well as statewide dance conventions.

Vicki is the past president of the SD Dance Network, Northern Plains Committee CCA, and Black Hills Committee CCA. She is the current registrar for the Black Hills Committee CCA.

Rachel Peterson


Rachel began dancing at the age of four and is a graduate of the Johnny Cavelle and Living Art Dance Studios.

She went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography at Hope College in Holland, MI, graduating with Highest Honors. After graduation, Rachel had the opportunity as a member of the H2 Dance Company to perform at the Marais Dance Centre in Paris, France, and continued her training with Giordano Dance in Chicago and the Rockettes in New York City. She is now in her second year as a dance instructor and teaches at both the Living Art Dance Studios and Westberry Dance. Rachel is currently certified in the Basic Level of the Nan Giordano Dance Certification and holds her Cecchetti Teacher Certifications in Grades I-II.

Brianna Mueller


Brianna Mueller has danced at Living Art Dance Studios since she was four years old and she graduated in 2019.

She has passed her Cecchetti I-III Student Examinations. Brianna is currently in her junior year at Northern State University where she is pursuing a degree in
Elementary Education. She was an assistant dance teacher for a year and this is her third year as a dance instructor. She also works as an assistant preschool teacher at the Youth Development Center when she isn’t teaching dance.
